What is going on? The lake has been full all summer and its dropping fast daily over the last week. Marked a spot at the dock and it dropped 12 inches this weekend. Some say they are pumping because of maintenance at T Wok station and some say the station is not ready. Was over at the station early Sunday morning and there was something running that was not the norm for me to hear.

Any ideas?

Looks like it could be dropping a hair faster. Here is a chart for the last 60 days. Maybe they are pumping some out?

There are a lot of stumps showing. Saw a Skeeter hit one while on pad. He thought he was in the boat lane but was out to the right about 6-8 feet. Thats safe in that area when its full.

McDonalds there in 2 weeks and the people that have their trails from months ago will need fiberglass work.

They must be pumping Billy, I watched the level drop 3 inches Sunday morning to Monday mid-day.

In the last 5-weeks it's dropped big time.

if anyone has noticed over the years that the lakes that flutuate alot tend to be the better lakes to fish. Falcon, Amistad, Ivie..Eagle Mtn...you know all the good ones.

E.M.  LOL..  I will say when fork was 5.1/2 to 6.0' foot low the fishing for us was unbelievable in 2006 and part of 07.
If it gets that low my new boat house will be high-N-dry.. OUCH ...

Personally, I hope they pump it down as low as they can go.  The lower it would get back in the drought, the better the fishing was...and hell the grass came back in places it hadn't grown in years.

Lake isn't even 2 foot down and people are saying it is 5ft+++
