Scott Gordon is our tournament director for the BPS Grapevine Series. He is one of the nicest guys and best TDs I have come across. He puts alot of work in for us anglers and has given alot to the fishing community. Monday Scotts truck was stolen out of the parking lot of his work. The truck was recovered but was totally gutted and they also stole his tournament equipment...scales, digital display, PA system, ect. I am putting together a benefit event where all the proceeds will go directly to Scott to help pay for the stolen equipment. The benefit event will be held at our year end championship tournament weigh in Oct. 3rd at Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine. I am asking for any donations for the event. Anything at all would be greatly appreciated and would be helping us to give back to a guy that has given so much to us. All donations can be mailed to me directly or can be brought to the final weigh in at Bass Pro Shops in Grapevine on Oct. 3rd. Thanks so much in advance for all the help.

Tickets can be purchased in advance and you do not have to be present to win.
Tickets are $5 each or 5 for $20...they can be purchased from me directly at the BBT tournament on Lake Lewisville or at the championship tournament. PM me for other options please.

Like mike said need to start promoting this now and start selling the tickets. I don't think the winners need to be present to win as you will get a lot more interest as people might not be able to attend.

Guys I am absolutely humbled, and I will never be able to express how much I appreciate all of your support. For the past few years I have been blessed to be in a position where I could help others raise funds whether it be a charity event and/or when a fellow angler is in need. The way that all of you routinely come together and make things happen has always amazed me, time and time again.

You all know by now that this week has been a difficult week for Helen and I. The truck being stolen was one thing, but to have my best tournament gear taken is what hurt the most, and unfortunately, the insurance company will not cover it (that's another story). Thank you so very much, I am literally left speechless and appreciate this more than I will ever be able to tell each of you!
