I am very interested in finding out what everyone is using.  I have folks ask me all the time and I honestly don't know what most folks are running these days. Some like a big graph up front, others like the big one at the dash.  I would love to see everyone's combos so I can learn a little to better serve my customers!  Thanks in advance!

I have a bird 798 and a 788.  Depending on if I'm prefishing or tournament fishing I'll swap em around from the dash to the trolling motor.

Are there any problems running both Lowrance & HB?  I have an LCX 28C on the console and a 520 in the bow, but I'm thinking about getting a ram mount with an HB 1198.

998-si combo on the console tied to a 10 inch monitor on the bow linked to the console display.  saved lots of $ with this set up.  also no si transducer on the trolling motor housing.  negative is the image you are looking at is at the back of the boat.  the gps puck is at the console so all waypoints are at center line.

Can you please post pics of the monitor? I was thinking of doing that myself but I had no idea where to begin.... Is it a water proof monitor?

i am not savvy on how to post  pictures of my set up.  i will take the pictures and my son will help me to get them posted.  i had a glass and window place make me a frame to hold the monitor and mounted the frame to a ram mount at the bow.  i will also include the humminbird cable part number to complete the connection.  you then have to set the monitor at the console to allow it to send the information to the monitor on the bow.  it works very well however i requested a sunlight readable screen and this one has to be repositioned to keep the screen sharp when the monitor is in direct sunlight, much like my lowrance positioned beside it on the bow.  i have used this set-up 4 times this winter and really like its operation.  occasionally have to jump to the console to set waypoints but once set it is excellent.  my real concern is and will be the monitors durability.  by the time i get you the pictures i will have fished the set up again at least once.  be patient with me and i will get you the info. thanks

I started with LCX28 at console and 522 at stern. Just unstalled a HB 998c at console and will be putting a 998c up front and have them ethernet connected.
