rick is the owner of choke canyon lodge and has been in the hospital for about 21 days and they almost lost him a couple times. i spoke to him this morning and it sounds like he will have another 5 weeks of recovery. if any of you have ever had the pleasure of meeting rick you would know they dont make them much better than him. a few prayers his direction would not hurt. thank you all -  dday.

jim you are correct; went in on that tuesday for out-patient procedure that did not go as expected. the good news is that they are moving him from the Hospital to a recovery center.

That is almost 7 weeks in the hospital. Unreal! Hope he gets out this week. Ruptured appendix are nasty things.
