Although I've never tried McCoy products, I hear a lot of positive comments about their products.  They manufacture a co-polymer, braid, and Fluorocarbon.

Has anyone here tried their products? How do you think they stack up to competitive brands for endurance, performance, and price?

My Tournament partner uses McCoy's almost exclusivly. He swears by it. I'm a P-Line guy I swear by it. We have had some interesting and friendly jabbing discussions. From all I have seen it is a solid, tough line.

Ive never had a bad experience with their co-poly.  Their fluoro is very very stiff though.

I've used their co-poly some in the past.   From what I remember it handled really well.  It was a bit stretchy though.  Of course those two characteristics usually go hand in hand.   For co-poly I stick with P-Line and Izorline.

John Tanner turned me on to McCoys line about 5 years ago and I have been using it since. I use mostly the 15lb Co-Polymer and I use the 65lb and 20lb braid. I have used other lines and braids every now and then just to check them out and always go back to McCoys. I really like the co-polymer especially in cold weather because it doesn't curl up and stays really flexible. It is also a really tough line.  I really like the softness of the braided lines, they move real smooth through the line guides. I usually put new braid on at the begining of the year and use it until the next year.
